Description
As ladies who have traveled to Lebanon, we carry the stories and faces of resilient families in our hearts. During our delegation visits, we had the privilege of meeting local communities and refugees, witnessing the dedication of the Africa Muslims Agency team, who tirelessly work to uplift the lives of many before the recent wave of attacks.
We listened to their hopes and dreams, shared meals, and felt their warmth. We witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by families—makeshift shelters, limited access to clean water, and children striving to maintain a sense of normalcy amid chaos.
Each family we spoke with shared their stories of loss and resilience, highlighting their unwavering spirit despite the circumstances.
Now, with hundreds dead and over 1 million individuals displaced, we cannot help but think of each person we met. We ask: What lies ahead for these families, their communities, and for the many more people of Lebanon?
The Africa Muslims Agency teams are on the ground undertaking emergency efforts to provide displaced families with essential aid, including food, hygiene kits, blankets, mattresses, baby milk,, diapers and many other emergency essentials.
Your contributions—whether through Zakaah, Sadaqah, or Lillah—are urgently needed.
“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.”
