AMA is excited and grateful to announce the launch of the Run For Gaza initiative with Abdul Aleem Gamza from Cape Town, whose goal is to run 760km in 2 months, representing 76 years of the occupation of Palestine.
Working with communities and runners across the country, we aim to raise R1million in aid For Gaza, insha’Allah.
Abdul Aleem will begin with his Launch Run tomorrow, 1 November 2024, from the historic Auwal Masjid in BoKaap, entrenching the symbolism of South Africans as a people who stand for equality.
We are also grateful to have Voice of the Cape on board as our media sponsor, covering this significant gesture to bring aid to Gaza.
